Background

Introduction

Anno 2010 the internet plays a significant role in the daily life of most professionals in almost any industry. The internet is frequently used to search for information or solutions as well as used as communication tool to communicate with other stakeholders.

For most festival networks this means that it is desirable to have a content-rich website, with special online resources and services for their members.

Unfortunately, most festival associations lack the resources to develop a content-rich member-area with an online knowledge centre, forums, opportunities for professional development, tools for sharing ideas, and social networking. In addition, most festival associations lack the critical mass of active members to keep the online community vibrant and make them successful.

The Solution

Rather than re-inventing the wheel and each festival network duplicating similar online resources, FestivalOrganiser.com was developed with the intention to offer festival associations an online solution that can be integrated with their own existing website.

We allow you to syndicate our content without losing out on branding or compromising your corporate identity (web-design).
FestivalOrganiser.com offers festival associations to participate in an online community that was specifically designed to support professionals in the festival and public event industry. Rather than standard online community solutions such as Facebook and LinkedIn, FestivalOrganiser.com is tailored to the specific needs of stakeholders of the festival and public event industry.

In addition to the standard features that are also available to other members of FestivalOrganiser.com, the system allows festival associations to have their own user-group. This means that you have a private Member Area within the FestivalOrganiser.com member area. This feature allows you to give access to internal reports and documents and/or resources exclusively to your own members, using the FestivalOrganiser.com platform (password protected).

Whatever the set-up you chose to integrate your association’s website with FestivalOrganiser.com, in all cases you are able to offer your own members with content that is exclusive to your members and thus private. In other words, FestivalOrganiser.com offers you a content management solution to manage your online member-area.

Of course the big win for your members is to be able to share content and resources with other professionals and to be connected to a global online community, far larger than your own membership base.

Contributions made by festival associations or their individual members to the FestivalOrganiser.com community-knowledge-base receive appropriate recognition and provide festival associations with opportunities for additional online visibility.

As part of the package, each participating festival association receives its own ProFile which may be used to promote your association.

In addition, our Idea-Bank , Tips & Tricks and Articles directories faciliate logo exposure, to allow you to brand your networks contribution to our online community.
