I am somewhat embarrassed to admit how long it took for Seth Godin's Purple Cow to surface at the top of my reading stack. While one will not find a single festival reference, I cannot think of a better book for festival planners to be reading, especially in today's turbulent world.

Uploaded a new system.

The web engine that runs our community infrastructure has been completely upgraded earlier this week.

We are still ironing out a few small bugs and are busy testing, making sure that everything works.

Although this upgrade further delays the official launch of FestivalOrganiser.com, it offers user better navigation and features that make working at FestivalOrganiser.com more efficient and a more pleasant experience.

What is causing most headaches at the moment and is holding us back is the compatibility and functionality of a number of technical add-ons that are in fact the engine behind important networking features of this website.
